Avocado Chevre Spread Recipe

Quick & easy spread that as healthy as it is delicious!

2 whole ripe avocado
1 cup chevre
¼ cup walnuts
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon juice to taste
Sesame and fresh dill to garnish
Extra virgin olive oil (optional)

All ingredients are available at Foodhall stores


  1. Dry roast the walnuts until they are warm and fragrant.
  2. In a food processor, combine the walnut with chevre and flesh of the ripe avocados. Blitz it to a smooth paste. Season with salt and pepper and add some lemon juice for acidity.
  3. If the mixture looks too coarse and lumpy, add a touch of olive oil to loosen up the mixture.
  4. Transfer into a bowl and serve alongside toast and additional garnishes like smoked salmon, caper, pickled onions, dill and sesame seeds.
