Black Grape Granita Recipe

Keep your guests satiated until lunch-time and also calm their parched throats.

1 cup black grapes
1 apple (cubed)
2 tbsp powdered sugar
juice of ½ lemon
1 tsp black salt
1 tsp cumin seeds


  1. In a mixer, add black grapes, powdered sugar, lemon juice, black salt and cumin seeds.
  2. Add ½ cup of water and blend it into a thin puree.
  3. Strain out the juice and add cubes of apple to it. Add ice and serve chilled in tall glasses.
