Mango Chutney Recipe

Karishma Sakhrani shares the perfect accompaniment this mango season.

Serves: 3-4 people


1 cup mango pulp
1 small white onion
3 tsp white vinegar
2 tbsp sugar
2 pcs star anise
2 green chillies, finely chopped
1 tbsp mint, finely chopped
1 lemon, juiced


  1. Cook the mango pulp on a medium high flame on the gas, with all the ingredients except for the mint.
  2. Stir intermittently, cooking for about ten minutes.
  3. Switch off the gas and cool. Add the chopped mint.
  4. Store in a glass jar in the refrigerator before serving.
