Rose Iced Latte Recipe
Avoid spending big bucks at coffee houses and instead make your own Latte flavoured with Arqa Rose Petals
2 tbsp Arqa Rose Petals
¼ tsp Arqa cardamom seeds, slightly crushed
1½ cups milk
2 to 4 tbsp cane sugar
A dash of rose water (optional)
400 ml of freshly brewed black coffee
Few ice cubes
Chopped pistachios to garnish
All ingredients are available at Foodhall stores.
- In a saucepan, heat up cardamom seeds, Arqa Rose Petals, milk & sugar. Stir well to dissolve all the sugar. Once simmering, take it off the heat.
- Let it steep for at least one hour to let all the flavours infuse. Strain through fine sieve & add a dash of rose water if you need a stronger rose flavour. Leave it aside.
- In a tall glass, drop in a few ice cubes & pour in the black coffee. Top it with the rose infused milk & garnish with chopped pistachios & more rose petals. Serve immediately.
