Rose Petal Jam Recipe

Flavour your jams with Arqa rose petals for added flavour.

2 cups mineral water
1 cup Arqa Rose Petals
2 cups castor sugar
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp fruit pectin

  1. In a saucepan, bring water and Arqa Rose Petals to a gentle simmer for about 10 minutes. Add half the sugar and mix till it dissolves completely.
  2. Add lemon juice and allow cooking for two more minutes. In a separate bowl, mix together remaining sugar with fruit pectin.
  3. Sprinkle in small amounts of this mix into the simmering pot so that the pectin doesn’t clump together. Simmer for 20 more minutes.
  4. Take it off the heat and let it cool completely before storing in a glass jar. It stays good for up to two months in the fridge.
